ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

DYSPORT / BOTOX
Frown lines form when facial expressions are made as to the muscle under the skin contracts. Over time, as your skin ages, these repeated expressions cause lasting frown lines. Neurotoxins, such as BOTOX® and DYSPORT®, are prescription medications that block the release of chemicals that cause these muscle contractions so frown lines are softened.

STATE OF THE ART

STATE-OF-THE-ART MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Both Botox and Dysport are injectable treatments made up of botulinum toxin type A. Also known as neurotoxin treatments, they are used to smooth dynamic wrinkles or wrinkles that form as a result of repeated facial movements over time. They work by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, causing them to relax for smoother skin. The main difference between Botox and Dysport is the formulation, which influences the dosage used, how much the product will spread under the skin, and how quickly results are seen.

TREATING

Botox is used cosmetically to reduce the activity of the muscles that cause frown lines, crow’s feet, horizontal lines in the forehead, and the hard “11’s” between your brows. Botox temporarily stops these muscles from contracting, which smoothes the lines and wrinkles on your face. Though used infrequently, small amounts of Botox can be administered by the corners of the mouth to raise them or injected into the chin to stop dimpling and the “orange peel” look.
