SMOOTHER SKIN WITHOUT THE DOWNTIME
If you’re one of many people who are bothered by their uneven skin texture—be it scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores, or stretch marks—the solution is easier than you’d think. Stop worrying about covering up old acne scars or stressing over the deep-set wrinkles that make you look older than you really are. It’s time to take the first step toward celebrating your skin.
Learn why Venus Viva™ is right for you!
When it comes to skin resurfacing, CO2 lasers used to be the frontrunner,
but these procedures also came with a lot of pain and downtime that could last several weeks,
if not longer (since they essentially remove the top layer of your skin). Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments, on the other hand, deliver the same results, just with significantly less pain and much lower downtime. And unlike lasers, which only work for fair complexions, Venus Viva™ treatments are safe for all skin tones. You’ll also notice much better results than with superficial treatments like chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
How It Works
Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. This creates tiny micro-dermal wounds, which the body naturally heals on its own. This process repairs signs of skin damage visible on the surface of the skin. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results. Viva improves the appearance of :
1 – Scars
2 – Visible pores
3 – Deep wrinkles
4 – Stretch marks
5 – Uneven skin texture
SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TONES:
Unlike most other skin resurfacing treatments that are not safe for darker skin tones, Venus Viva™ is safe for all ethnicities, even for darker complexions.
LOW TO NO DOWNTIME:
Return to your daily skin care routine 24 hours after skin resurfacing treatments. No downtime at all for wrinkle reduction treatments.
QUICK TREATMENTS:
Sessions last only 15-30 minutes.
What Is Venus Viva And What Does It Do?
The Venus Viva combines NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) and SmartScan technology into a system that delivers proven results through a skin heating process that offers minimal discomfort to the patient. Venus Viva designed for use in dermatological procedures for ablation (removal) of soft tissue and resurfacing of the skin. The unique system allows the technician to manually control ablation for enhanced treatment efficiency and patient comfort.

Yes. Venus Viva™ uses technology that’s safe for all skin tones, even darker ones.
3. How many sessions will I need to see results?
Most patients receive 3-4 treatments per area. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated.
4. How often/far apart should the treatments be?
Treatments are done 4 weeks apart.
5. Do I need to do anything to prepare for the treatment?
Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams, perfumes, powder, or makeup before your treatment session. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated. If you have excessive hair on the treatment area, shave it beforehand. It also helps to be prepared with information about your medical history—the technician will likely ask about it.
FAQ During Treatment
1. How long does a treatment session last?
Each session lasts 15-45 minutes, depending on the area being treated and use of topical anesthesia.
2. What does the treatment feel like?
You will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. Your face will then feel warm, like a sunburn.
3. Will it be painful?
Venus Viva™ treatments may be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. You’ll feel intense heat, similar to the feeling of sunburn, and your face will look red right after the treatment. For more aggressive treatments, you may get a topical numbing cream to reduce any discomfort.
FAQ After Treatment
1. How will I feel after my treatment?
Your skin will be red and feel warm afterward, like a sunburn. You can ease this by fanning or exposing the area to cool air. Within the first 24 hours, only apply topicals that have been recommended or prescribed by your treatment provider. The warm feeling should go away within 24 hours.
2. Is there downtime after the treatment? / How long is recovery time?
Yes, but only for 24 hours post-treatment (or up to 5 days for more aggressive treatments), unlike lasers or other treatments where recovery or downtime lasts up to 10 days. Your skin will be red and sensitive for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, you may put on makeup and resume your regular skin care routine. You should always apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30) to maintain your results and prevent sun damage. Avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.
3. How long will the results last and are they permanent?
After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve. However, one touch-up session may be needed approximately every 6 months, depending on how your skin responds.
4. Do I need to do anything after my treatment?
If your skin feels hot, you can use a fan to cool it down. Avoid touching or scratching the treatment area. For the first 24 hours, only apply products that are expressly recommended by your treatment provider, as there are many topicals that could cause severe irritation. After 24 hours, you should apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30), preferably one without chemicals. Also avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.
5. Can I put on makeup or lotion right after my treatment?
No. You should wait till 24 hours after your treatment to apply any makeup or lotion. Some topicals or skin care may be recommended by your treatment provider, and anything you apply should be done in-office or prescribed by them.
